Study for We Were Flying, 2025

Rooted in photography and collage, the Flights project is a meditation on freedom-making and liberation practices. Through urban landscape photography and paper assemblage, the project explores new vocabularies and visual spaces to contemplate how we might think about living free, or with a sense of flight and joy centering how we create what is possible.
We Were Flying is a photographic collage made of multiple printed, cut, and hand-assembled c-prints (with no digital intervention) exploring the ways in which urban and marginalized landscapes are sites of flight and freedom-making.
